each with an excellent chance to play in the Final Four and have favorable publicity for what will seem like forever.

The school of which you are a fan has been inconsequential in basketball basically since its existence.

Do you care? Good for them? Sucks to be us? Could be worse if Tech was in the Elite 8?

I'm not a complete "pull for the SEC guy", most especially given these participants.

I'm leaning towards I don't care. Baseball is in full swing and football is 5 months away.

I am simultaneously not rooting for any of them while not really giving a shite one way or the other.

If any fan of any of those programs tries a basketball flex on the internet or in real life, all you have to say is "basketball school" or "so you're a basketball school now" and that will be the end of it.

It paints a picture of the difficulty of our schedule

I used to love it, and 2003 pissed me off so badly, but It’s just such a bad sport to watch the way it is now.

I generally root for the SEC in hoops in the tournament even if it's one of our rivals. I like the Florida coach. He's running a solid program down there. I've always liked Rick Barnes. I had a friend that played for him at Clemson. He said he was a great coach and person. I'm not much of a Bruce Pearl fan though.

I can't pull for Auburn, Florida, Tennessee or Alabama in any sport at any time. Especially Auburn.

If Florida wins it all; it will hard to comprehend how bad we looked in the first round.

By any measure this year was an improvement.

We need a tech billionaire to fund a real bball team, it's the only way.

At this point, we'll only ever be good if we buy players. We've won 4 first round games in tournament history. Ever. How we've been this bad for over a century is a mystery to me.

Poor choices for Athletic Directors for generations.

We've always hired from within regarding the AD position. The ADs, in turn, have mostly done the same. It's a good money savings strategy.

I want to care. I want to be competitive, but at the same time I will not waste my time, money, energy on a mediocre product. It is what it is at this point.

Maybe we can at least be/stay competitive in baseball
