They won a game in the 2002 NCAA which is their only tournament win since making it to the Sweet 16 in 1996. That's an embarrassingly bad run of basketball over a 29 year period.

Nebraska has never won a tournament game, so there’s that.

The state of Nebraska doesn't produce much local basketball talent and a lot of it goes to Creighton if they don't get the call from Kansas.

Georgia has a ton of in state talent. There's no excuse for them to suck. OK, football school and all but they should be putting out lower ranked teams and making the tourny 3 out of 4 years with what they grow in their backyard.

Nebraska isn't the flagship state school like 75 miles from downtown Atlanta.
