So Tim Doyle called Ole Miss's basketball team 'a fraud.' Question: Does this do for Ole Miss what all the disrespect shown to North Carolina did for them in the San Diego State game? Or does it matter?

Big Ten guy hates on SEC school? Shocker.
I don't think Ole Miss is a "fraud". Their resume has them placed accordingly. They have 7 more Quad 1 wins than UNC does (they're 1-12 to the Rebs 8-10), that's for sure. And they beat a common opponent that UNC lost to (Louisville).
I don't care how much UNC wins at this point, they still didn't deserve to be in on their resume.

I'm just wondering what Doyle's grounds were for calling Ole Miss a fraud. Record shows that they had wins over Alabama and Louisville on the road; Tennessee and Kentucky at home. I admit that I'm an SEC homer, but it really is the best and deepest basketball league in the country right now.
BTW, I got unfriended on Facebook by a Big Ten guy because I told him I didn't think Indiana belonged in the football playoff. Some people take sports way too seriously.

Same. Ole Miss finished the season #28 in the NET. They are 5-1 in Quad 2 with their only loss to Mississippi State (I feel like this is where acknowledgement of a rivalry game should have some notation in the NET).
They're appropriately seeded and included in the NCAAT.
