Looks like the SEC is going to be as tough and balanced in baseball as it is in men's basketball. I know that conference play has just started, but here's how good the SEC is going into March 15th:
2. Ole Miss
3. Tennessee
5. UGA
10. Oklahoma
14. Bama
16, Texas
17. Vandy
20. Florida
23. South Carolina
24. Auburn
26. Arkansas
2. Ole Miss
3. Tennessee
5. UGA
10. Oklahoma
14. Bama
16, Texas
17. Vandy
20. Florida
23. South Carolina
24. Auburn
26. Arkansas

No LSU????
It’s still preseason for RPI. Give it another couple months then you can look at RPI
Rankings that people look at this time of year have LSU at #1

Everyone else gets a RPI boost this weekend, but we have to play Mizzou.

OP is using a really stupid metric to make his point anyway. He’s trying to stress how good SEC baseball is by saying there’s 10 high ranked RPI teams right now which is an irrelevant metric right now
Fact of the matter is there’s 15 tournament quality teams in the conference right now so why you’d say there’s 10 is extremely underselling the strength of the SEC anyway. Missouri is the only team that will not be in the regional picture come late May

I'm just reporting what Warren Nolan's metrics show re: RPI and ELO at this point in the season. Sue me.
