I honestly wonder if their highly rated freshman point guard (who got hurt) was holding them back in SEC play. I know it makes no sense, but when he went down everything changed...chemistry in basketball cannot be overstated.

The short bench will haunt us in the tournament, I'm afraid. Losing Boogie was manageable. Losing Thiero is probably a step too far.

Losing Aidoo for all but the last regular season game was a big hit too

Hard to say.

Davis and the other young guys were playing really terrible at that point. As was Z and Aidoo.

Encouraging nonetheless to see guys step up and the way Cal stuck with them all.

Cal has said that due to injuries he’s coached 4 different teams this season. The remaining players have stepped up tremendously after boogie went down and other injuries. But it all went up when boogie went down no doubt.

The problem has been Health all year long.

Really, Davis, nor arguably Aidoo, shouldn't have started playing until mid January to February. They were that unhealthy, but there wasn't much in the way of a choice.
