That was an excellent game to me. Neither team wanted to lose. It could have gone the other way if UF missed some ft’s.

Florida’s front court was able to neutralize or minimize the advantage that Bama generally has over other teams.

I’d fully expect both teams to make good runs in the big tourney. To many ballers on both teams. It could have easily been the other way around score wise.

I’d think and hope that tough games late in the season will only make you more resilient and not lose composure when the going gets tough.

Good luck Bama.

Florida is a complete basketball team coached at a very high level. Just flat out better. Have every opportunity to win a title.

Clayton and Richard were 2-13 from 3. They are very lucky it wasn’t worse with the way Alex played.

Florida is peaking at the right time. I hope you’re a 2 seed and take out Duke. I suspect you’re going to end up a 1 seed.

Thanks! Florida is good enough to win it all. Bama’s Sweet 16, Elite 8 ceiling. Just can’t defend.

Agreed, was a great game. I didn't expect to win at their place tonight, but Condon went nuts. I'm never relaxed when we are playing Bama.

Not sure what you mean, but that was another atrociously officiated SEC basketball game.
It damn near turned into a rugby match numerous times, and there were many, many blatant hard fouls by both teams that went uncalled.

If a CBB game was called well, I might look outside to see if pigs were flying

Probably not. I think Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Bama are more focused on the Big Dance and may even rest players during the SEC tourney.

If I were betting on the SEC, I would say Kentucky, Ole Miss, or Missouri is the most likely to win. It wouldn't be a stretch to bet on one of the regular season underachievers such as Texas, Arkansas or Oklahoma to win it all. Really there are a lot of good teams in the SEC this year-- any SEC team could get hot (except LSU) and raise the banner on Sunday.

bamma is a 2-3 seed in basketball, and even with a huge UF turnout, the gym was 2/3rds full.

Care to compare career accomplishments for Bruce and Oats? Or are you not ready for that conversation.

Nate - 2 Regular Season SEC Championships
2 SEC Tourney Titles
1 Final 4
3 Sweet 16s

Bruce - 4 Regular Season SEC Championships
2 SEC Tourney Titles
1 final 4
3 Sweet 16s

Not much difference... should I do head-to-head?
Nate - 50 years old
Bruce - 64 years old

uh....sure?

Since Oats arrived he's either been the best or the second best coach in the league trading with Pearl?

I don't know what you're getting at here

2nd best in the state maybe.

Nobody likes the murderer in chief that finishes 2-4 down the stretch on the regular.
