Bond & Blue talking all week about breaking Xavier’s record. Neither even came close. Yet Matt Golden went out & ran a 4.29. He out performed Bond all season long. Such a dog.

Golden > Bond
Easy decision too.. Golden is gonna be a stud in the NFL imo.

Your offense underperformed massively this year.
I suspect it was Ewers, but yall should’ve won a NC with that defense this year.

Agreed. He really did outperform them

Chris Sims was a notch above awesome with no defense on the field.

Given draft projections the offense was likely the most talented in CFB top to bottom, but it very rarely played like it

There were wide open guys on pretty much every passing play.. QE locks on a WR and doesn’t come off that guy very often.. good college QB, but not great, and likely isn’t more than a clipboard holder in the NFL.. which is maybe the best job out there

I don’t think your offense was actually even a plus level unit and based on raw talent it probably should’ve been a top 3 group.
I didn’t watch close enough to ID the cause but I really think with even top 25 level QB play that was a NC roster.

IDK, the scheme didn't translate all that well into the SEC imo and likely needs some fine-tuning, particularly blocking assignments.
shite it's possible they end up the #1LT, #1 RT, #1 C, #2 WR1, #1 WR2, #6 TE, and #1 PPR RB in this draft. Campbell is a top 5 RG next year. Quinn is still a top ~5 QB in this draft, the lone weakness was arguably Conner and the Baxter injury. The sum somehow managed to be less than the parts

the only game that prevented a NC was the OSU game.. we would have beat ND
OSU destroyed everyone else..
Sark has built a great roster. so maybe we get a NC soon, but we could have won the last 2, so yeah that hurts..

One player we couldn’t lose was Baxter all year. So much changes without a power back you trust

Eh, I was referring to the Georgia games and the line folding like a cheap suit

No, Not that usurper. Major Applewhite was the guy and he got the shaft from Mack Brown on that one.
