This 2024 Ohio State team may be one of the greatest teams of all time

-Played SIX AP ranked top 15 teams and went 5-1 against them
-Became an absolute JUGGERNAUT in the post season and fricking ran through Tennessee, Oregon, UTrans, and the Notre Dame Fighting Garbage
-Have one of the greatest and most talented defensive squads of all time
-This Ohio State team will go down in history as having one of the greatest runs of all time in college football, not just by the team itself, but by Ryan Day too
-Move over 2019 LSU, this team has changed the record books!
9 TIME NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
It’s a GREAT time to be a Buckeye fan

Are all Ohio State fans retarded or did tRant just hit the jackpot?

Went 10-2 in regular season, so that’s an obvious NO.

I think that Saints fans might be the ones who are retarded

You lost to a Notre Dame team that had half of their starters out

9 National Championships > 4 National Championships

Prior to this year, Ohio State would have been left out of a four-team playoff and would've never sniffed the BCS title game.
At which point Ryan Day probably would have quit by now and there'd be documentaries about how wretched and batshit crazy the Ohio State fanbase was.

Oh y’all claim like the gumps huh?
I know for a fact the AU fans here would like a word for that 57 title claim.

Wouldn't even have been selected for a 4-team playoff.

Could’ve, would’ve, should’ve
The right choice was made in expanding the playoff

Must have been a good point since you decided to change the subject.

Meh, GOAT teams don't lose to their rivals.
ETS: Post this shite on the MSB, where it belongs. Ohio State is not SEC.

You lost to an overhyped fraud of a Notre Dame team that literally played one of the weakest SOS in the entire country

That’s not how I would classify a GOAT team. A GOAT team is a team that shows resilience in the most adversarial moments when all of the odds are against them. That was exactly the case for this Ohio State team after they lost to TCUN. Then, by the grace of God, and inspiration from Coach Day, they put together one of the greatest motherfricking playoff runs the world has ever seen. THAT is the definition of a GOAT team

as far as greatest season, I would say no, you got a mulligan against Oregon, lost to a pretty bad Michigan team and did not have to play in Big Ten Title game
as far as greastest postseason run, you might have an argument, beat Tenn at home, Oregon in rematch at neutral site, Texas which was almost a road game and Notre Dame (not exactly a heavyweight in the title game)
obviously it was the first expanded playoff so you can't really compare postseasons this season and going forward to the past
the recent champions bama, uga and lsu would not have had much issue going through those same four teams
