Upvote - Carrol deciding to throw from the 1 yard line instead of handing off to Lynch to win the Super Bowl?
Downvote - Sark calling for a toss sweep from the 1 yard line instead of having Arch take the snap and rush for the tying TD?
Carrol's is clearly more consequential, but let's discuss which individual play is a dumber call.

You choose to pick on two excellent football coaches, for whom boneheaded calls are a rarity.
Neither was brain dead.
Both would have been celebrated, had the plays worked .
I wish Sark or (when he was in his prime) Carroll would have been calling plays for LSU this year, instead of Sloan.

Carrol's easily.
But let's not lose sight of that horrible play call against Ohio State.
