Revisionist history. No one claimed he was the "GOAT". They just claimed he was exponentially better than Brian Kelly, which isn't saying much.

No, he's just better than BK. It doesn't take the GOAT to be better than BK, Alabama already has a coach better.

Kelly didn’t have ND NIL and an expanded playoff. freeman wouldn’t be doing Jack under the old system.

None of you have anything to do with your football team winning or losing either, but you act like you’re the coach or on the team - LOL. Your coach took a 16 in row 10 or more wins in a season, 12-2 team that took Meechigan to OT and won the SEC and went 9-4 and missed SEC Championship and playoffs. Freeman might be your man.

I don't see much of a change really. ND isn't bringing in top classes. It's one of the reasons I'm not sure they are legit.

Fanbases have a lot to do with teams winning. Why do you think bluebloods are bluebloods?
Alabama doesn't need a coach, but if we did I would 100% take Freeman before I took Brian Kelly.
I would hire Napier before I would hire Brian Kelly and I have been steady in that position for 3 years.

All schools reward a coach's good season with renewed contracts and a zillion dollar raise. Freeman will probably fall into that category and stay at ND.
