No matter what else happens this offseason

That little WR flare or screen or whatever you want to call it needs to be removed from the play book and retired forever. It was consistently ineffectual but Bobo called it like his life depended on it. And everyone in the stadium knows when it is coming.
Also, when we rush up to the line, it is going to be a hand-off. Might want to shitcan that one too.

My vote is to nix the 4th and short “oh they’re going to go for it!” fake to try and draw the offsides that never works and we never go for it.

I'd tell the quarterbacks and receivers not to make any vacation plans from March through August, because they're gonna be running routes, throwing and catching every day.

What were your expectations for that play and what were the results?
How does that play set up other plays and what does it do to the defense?

We won two overtime games with that play though. We also ran PA out of it and scored with the TE 2 different times.

Other teams run it effectively. We do not for some reason.

Bring back the sprint draw

Todd Monken ran the shite out of those plays too.

You can occasionally have success against any defense with innovative play calling but most offense depends on good blocking at the point of attack.
Those quick passes to wideouts are no different.
GT has a very good running game with much less talent that a lot of teams due to good coaching in blocking at the point of attack.
This is what is too often missing in our offense.
And yes, it takes 5 star level athletic players for blocking to be effective against highly talented defenses.
