Obvious sports section is run by auburn people. Most Bama fans can see its just controlled opposition and avoid it.

It's a running joke between my Aubie gf and I as to how much AL.com posts many more Bammer positives at the top of their page and hide Auburn way down below the first ad inserts. Only lately since Auburn has done well in basketball has anything changed in that regard and that is still not quite as big a change because Bama is doing well on the court as well. I've made it a point for a few years to watch the page layout and it's Bama by a mile.

Not trying to stir the pot or anything but I believe you are correct, however the Nate Oats/ Miller situation turned the writers against Oats.

I remember when I'd open up an al.com link without realizing it and not paying attention.
I'd get about 5 comments in at the bottom and then I'd realize - I'm reading al.com

At least it’s free to read online. Tuscaloosa has two free online papers now and they have almost no content. Maybe five articles a day. The Patch guy will take a week off and not even post anything for five days sometimes. Newspaper people really suck. I’ll get back on the porch now and wait on my free online “paper”.
