I'm not upset about it.
I get why gamecock fans would feel snubbed, but it's Vandy. What Lea has done there has been awesome to watch. Rough ending for them, but that's life in the SEC.

Well deserved. It’s tough to get Vandy to a bowl and they did it with some quality wins. And played a lot of good teams close

I still think Beamer should have gotten it. Picked to finish 13th in the SEC they finished as the 4th team out of the College Football playoff. Vandy had some great moments, but the total body of work I'm surprised Beamer didn't win.

Shows the power Bama carries. You beat them, you get coach of the year. I bet you could trace this back for many COTY in the SEC.

Don't know about that, they are improved but by how much? A .500ish team is not the bar to greatness.
