Hopefully guys with a year of experience in Wommack's defense will help that unit hit the ground running as opposed to unlearning Saban's system and adjusting to the new one. Lots of young talent returning, in the secondary especially.
As for the other side of the ball, maybe having a QB that's actually a QB will make it clear out of the gate why DeBoer is so highly regarded for his offense. Even though FSU had a godawful season, a road game week 1 in that environment will be a great test.
And please lord let Pavia graduate.

Id be curious to see the numbers on teams played coming off a bye over the last 10-15 years, it seems like it’s been really skewed against us.
