So much talent he has, that you can't coach, just born with. But he seems to lose the ball in every single game. How do you coach "don't fumble"?

Other teams know this, they go after the ball when he’s carrying it. Definitely have to work on it! Can’t deny the fact that in the 4th qtr Frazier was running hard, just have to do everything during the run!

Delp fumbled the ball late in the Kentucky game this year, Kirby climbed in his rear! I noticed last night on a late throw and catch he put both hands on it just before contact, textbook!

The Giants did it with Tiki Barber years ago. His fumble issues went away when Tom Coughlin got there. I think they just tweaked the way he was holding the ball.

Some are unavoidable, some we were wet ball but the big thing is, building forearm and hand strength and keeping it close to the body. Run the gauntlet with teammates getting reduced sprints for knocking it out while he gets more

Frazier has a tendency to let the ball get away from his body in traffic if he’s putting moves on people. Gotta keep it in his chest.

Just copy Nick Chubb--high and tight and use two hands in traffic.

A fumbler is way less likely to fumble if he knows he'll be yanked for the rest of the game if he fumbles again. We're finally at that point again where the coaches have that option for Frazier.

You teach the player how to hold the ball securely and run him in practice until he has it down. Then run him a few more times.

You force him to cover up the ball with both hands/arms any time there is potential contact.
This means when you pass through the line of scrimmage, cover up.
If you get in the open field and a tackler is approaching, cover up.
It's not rocket science.
And yes, it might effect his agility and ability to make evasive cuts, etc. but turning the ball over is not worth any extra yardage he might gain in limiting his running style from my perspective.
One of the main issues this team has had this season is ball security so it definitely needs to be a priority going into the playoffs because good defenses will look at our film and their coaches will say: look at that, you will have opportunities to strip the ball.

1) Eagle claw
2) Rub the nipple raw-wrist above elbow
3) Inside of wrist pressured to ribs or chest
4) No space from behind-again ball pressed tightly against body
5) Opposite hand over ball (10 fingers) or
6) opposite hand over wrist
CAN’T TEACH “DON’T FUMBLE.” Creates negative thinking.
