Crazy this argument is being made. Beck had UGA 56 yards of offense by half. His defense was about five minutes from gassing the frick out from chasing down screens. The only thing preventing a big Texas lead at half was a mountain of penalty yardage. Then Gunner comes in and revitalizes both sides of the ball. He’s moving the chains consistently. His teammates seemed to really rally around him. Texas tried to kill his arse and he popped back up. I’d like to him with three weeks of QB1 practice reps vs a playoff team.

No one is making this argument.

Beck played the last play.

Bwahahahaha. Y’all suck. We beat that arse twice, once with a jr high qb. You wouldn’t have won the Big 12 this year. Losers. HBTMFD

It kills me that they’re saying this bc they’re comparing a 4 team playoff to a 12 team. If they had a 12 team playoff last year, FSU would’ve made it.

When Florida State replaced their QB against Louisville their backup was largely ineffective.

UGA's backup sparked a comeback win against the (allegedly) #2 team in the country.

I get that you were making a snarky comment but there are those who will read the title and ignore your post...

Which was pretty much dead nuts on.

I'm happy that Stockton came in and got the win... but let's not pretend either Stockton or Beck actually played well.

Beck had 56 yards (4.3 yards per attempt) with 0 TD and 0 INT in the first half.

Stockton had 71 yards (4.4 yards per attempt) with 0 TD and 1 INT in the second half and OT

Stockton ended up with 8 carries for 8 yards running the ball.

The UGA OL and RB's were what worked in the second half. The QB play didn't get worse (which is all you can ask when a backup comes it), but it didn't really get better either.

UGA beat the frick out FSU with 22 opt outs and we played into our scout team.

We won an automatic bid last night with a backup that our performed the starting QB....vs the #2 team...we didn't limo to a win over Louisville ...

There are some really dumb mfers in this world.
