We already know we're playing the same SEC teams as this year just in the opposite location.

Home: Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Ole Miss
Road: Auburn, Miss. State, Tennessee

Games we already KNOW:
8/30 vs Marshall
9/6 vs Austin Peay
11/1 vs Florida
11/22 vs Charlotte
11/29 vs tech (at MBS)

Likely:
-Probably have a bye on 10/25 before Jax
-If AU keeps their same spot on our schedule they'll be 10/4
-Ditto for UT saying the same, they'll be 11/15

Honestly the way this has shaken out it wouldn't surprise me to see them truly keep everyone in the exact same order. So bama on 9/27, ole miss on 11/8, etc.

Guess we'll see next week.

Love opening up with two cupcakes to get Gunner some confidence

me too. I have always for decades said we shouldn't intnetinoally make things harder on ourselves considering the murderer's row of an SEC schedule we already have.

Sure it felt great beating clemson's arse but I mean did that really help us any? And as you said, with breaking in a new QB I'm even more in favor. You think it'll be gunnar? I have absolutely nothing to base this on but he just feels like a guy that hasn't really broken through. Shattered all kinds of reords in HS but you don't hear a peep about him. I feel like we've heard more about puglisi than gunner. And I can't imagine Rashada would transfer here, then sit all season, only to be a backup again next yera. Will definitely be interesting to see.

All the folks in the know think it will be. He is Bobos boy and Rashada hasn't really made a move to overtake him. Gunner will get rewarded for sticking around, buying into process, yadda yadda

According to others the plan is to be aggressive in the portal for WR and weapons in general to up talent on offense. Bobo is getting a somewhat pass for offensive struggles due to low talent in WR room.

But then recently others are saying that Bobo will step down at the end of the year...so if that happens idk could open up QB competition.

Faulkner still lives in oconnee and commutes to atlanta, from what I've heard from people around town he'd take our job in a heartbeat if offered.

I really WANT to like gunner, and I don't have any reason not to since we've only seen him in extremely limited mopup. I just don't get that "it factor" vibe from him for some reason.

I don’t wholly trust Kirby with our QBs but it’ll be telling it we go hard in the portal, depending on what’s out there.

Rashada, Gunner, Puglisi are gonna have a hell of a competition in the spring. Gotta think at least a couple transfer, especially if we take 2 QBs in this class and look in the portal.

I'd take Faulkner but just worried he would be gone in a year for a HC job. Which may be unavoidable with any successful OC. would like to guarantee at least 2-3 years though.

Don't really have a strong opinion on gunner yet. Wish he could have got in more games this year

I get the same vibe with Gunner that I had with Vandagriff, more of a thrower than a true passer. But I don't think the coaches will base this decision on seniority, aesthetics, etc., and definitely not on fan opinions. They'll look at who is most consistent, who can best run the offense, including under pressure, and who can provide leadership by setting an example.

His kid plays for North Oconee and is pretty damn good.

If Bobo truly does step back and we invite Faulkner back, it’s us vs any HC opportunities that might come his way.
