Now that we are getting close, what team out of the group do you think actually has the capacity to win it all? I got to thinking about this last night give me your thoughts.

Could win:

Texas
UGA
Oregon
Bama (homer pick)

Maybe:

OSU
UT

Not Likely:

ND
Penn State

No Way:

ASU
Boise State
Indiana
SMU

Zebras will likely play a role in it.

Right now it's obvious:

Texas Offense is little shaky, but defense is good
UGA Offense/Defense is inconsistent at times.
Oregon They're very good. But can they compete with bigger team?
Bama Very inconsistent. Can be real good or can be real bad.
Ohio State- They have the talent, but the coaching is question mark.

Georgia and Bama has experience being in National Championship. Ohio State might be favored if they go deep.

Alabama absolutely, positively will not win with Jalen Milroe at quarterback. Period, end of story.

We'll soon know how serious Kalen DeBoer actually is about winning this.

Milroe can get hot. It’s not out of the realm of possibility.

The team is very very inconsistent but they’ve always gotten “up” for big games. I’d favor Alabama in the early rounds and maybe not so much in the semi/Champ.

With that being said; DeBoer isn’t and shouldn’t bench Milroe heading into any of the games. Now if he is shitting the bed during a game….I think you have a discussion then.

With Milroe we can beat anyone.

We just can't beat anyone 2 games in a row...much less 4 in a row.

But I do hope they get to try.

We can also lose to anyone. It’s a definition of high ceiling low floor.

ETA: If we sneak in and win the whole damn thing. This would be my least favorite championship team but the funniest by far.

I would be pleasantly surprised if Bama plays consistently enough to win 4 consecutive games against playoff quality opponents with the first being a road game. Shocked, but also pleasantly surprised.

Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

I think it will be Georgia or Texas unfortunately.

Maybe Oregon but I honestly haven’t seen them play a down of football this year so I’m not a believer but that is not founded in much other than not seeing a West Coast Pac team winning it (I know they are Big 10 now).

It's time to surrender the "high ceiling" myth regarding Jalen Milroe. His floor is low, his ceiling is low. The things he does poorly have not improved and the things he does well, he only does sometimes and as the season has worn on, he's done them less and less.

Jalen Milroe has devolved into a consistently bad quarterback who now brings practically nothing to the table.

Kalen DeBoer will likely be given a shot to win a championship. We'll find out soon enough how serious he takes it.

Both Oregon and Penn State was in a four quarter battle with a team we booty clapped so I expect one of those teams to give them the business.

We’ve rode with Milroe this far, might as well keep him as the starter. If it’s second half, he’s played terrible, put in Ty, but are we as good this year as Milroe takes us. Unfortunately that is who we are this year.

Georgia, Texas, Ohio State are the teams that can win 3/4 in a row. Maybe Oregon but I haven’t what he’d them play much either.

Ok.

Or Deboer can coach like he wants to win a national championship and take the next few weeks to prep a quarterback who gives Alabama a shot to see it through.

Jalen Milroe gives The Alabama Crimson Tide zero chance of winning the national championship. Deboer doesn't have to use the Saban model. He can forward think on this.

It's like flipping a coin. Chances are you won't flip heads 4 times in a row, and yet if you have 12 people flip a coin 4 times somebody is probably going to flip heads 4 times in a row.

Somebody has to win this thing. There are no dominant teams this year. Bama can beat anyone in the field, but doing that 4 times in a row seems unlikely. Same for everyone though (except the bottom tier).

I’m on your side with this but if he hasn’t pulled Milroe as a starter after the Tennessee or Oklahoma games, he’s not going to do it, Hopefully if we are down at Notre Dame or somewhere he does pull him, at that point it’s win or go home.
