Because Saban gets good players.

Is he a hard arse? Hell yeah. Does he wear on you? Probably so.

Non talented players don't get drafted though. If you recruit good players and develop them then you are going to have some leave early.

I'd rather have guys leaving early than none leaving at all.

Ah, it's best to just ignore them. You can't win an argument with them because they refuse to use logic, they just see like they would like to and make that their reality.

The players leaving Bama early this year aren't his recruits, they are Shula's players, the players he went 12-2 with this year.

I'll take 12 wins every season. I don't care who recruited them.

You might see less of this in a couple years when the NFL institutes the rookie salary cap. Depending on how low the cap is and how much of it can be guaranteed.

The rant thinks the Chargers owe their success to Jacob Hester.

The rant thinks Trindon Holliday should move to DE.

The rant thinks LSU could have beaten any team in the country the way they played in the Chik-fil-a bowl.

Is it really worth starting a thread to refute what they think?

I think its hilarious to have a Bama fan coming here to tell us about Saban. After you've had him for 5 years, then tell us something we don't know.

Until then, realize you are just learning. And, as a learner, you might want to make sure that your posts have some semblance of accuracy. Saban's been there 2 years. How can his recruits be turning pro early.

The real truth is that everyone wants to get away from the lunatic.

Just my opinion, under Shula, Coffee would not have developed to this level and would not be leaving early. The reason I say this is because the offensive line would not be at this level. Pre Sugar Bowl!

Coffee is leaving early because he is not a dumbass. Period.

Bama is losing the strength of their offense which made Coffee look good this year and is gonna get him a better look in the draft. Next year, Coffee would lose playing time to Ingram and probably Richardson if he sticks with Bama (the Gators still may get him). So, if Coffee came back, there is no way he would be the 2nd leading rusher in the SEC next year. I doubt he would put up 1,000 yards total and I would bet would drop at least one round in the draft, maybe more depending on what I just pointed out.

Yep, any team that recruits pro-potential players is going to have some of those players leave once they are eligible for the draft. It's clearly a balance among a number of factors if and when they go early.

Some players value the college experience and want to get a degree regardless of their prospects. Others like Stafford and Moreno obviously aren't concerned about what they might accomplish in a another year of college and make the jump while the gettin' is good. Really if you can make millions of dollars by going when you can, why risk injury and blow a literally golden opportunity.
