My personal view is to want to choose to compete for the biggest prize (meaninng playoff).

But for fun lets play the "what-if" game base specifically if you want Milroe to return for next season.

If Alabama misses the play-offs and goes Bowling...

- Does Milroe believe the 1st round hype?
- Does Milroe play agaist a lesser team in the effort to boost his stats
- Does Milroe tap out and start prep for the combine

If Alabama makes the Play-off field...

- Milroe's last game is more likely to result in a poor last impression for the draft increasing the potential that he returns next season
- Alabame wins it all and Milroe hype train washes him into the draft

Regardless of any other questions, you always choose to compete for the biggest prize!

I'd like to take a poll on this, probaly less than 10%.

I hope we get into the playoffs and Milroe moves on after this season. I will be a lot more optimistic about next season if he is somewhere else.

If he wants to come back, he really won't have any say in it. CKD and the "collective" will deicide that. If the money dries up, what else is he to do? Who would pay a quarterback as bad as Jalen Milroe to return for another season?

Projection

First Round Matchups
No. 12 Iowa State vs. No. 5 Texas
No. 11 Alabama vs. No. 6 Penn State
No. 10 Indiana vs. No. 7 Notre Dame
No. 9 Tennessee vs. No. 8 Ohio State

Quarterfinal Matchups
No. 12 Iowa State/No. 5 Texas vs. No. 4 Boise State
No. 11 Alabama/No. 6 Penn State vs. No. 3 SMU
No. 10 Indiana/No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 2 Georgia
No. 9 Tennessee/No. 8 Ohio State vs. No. 1 Oregon

I like our chances against both PSU and SMU. Maybe, Bama/Illini if a bowl game. It would be a hoot if the semi has Texas, Bama, Ga, and Tenn!

Would be hilarious to see us get to the quarterfinals and face SMU/Clemson/Iowa St/ASU while Oregon has to play Georgia or Ohio State. People would be irrationally angry.

And then we would lose to Arizona State, obviously, because that is the sort of thing this team would absolutely do

Quote from CKD..." I want a guy who can deliver the ball and do so while getting the ball to the players around him efficiently. We want to recruit a lot of skill around him. That skill’s got to be used."

Does that sound like Milroe is "that guy"?

I think you overestimate the importance of college football to the NFL draft. Anthony Richardson tells you all you need to know about their scouting process. It's all combine.
