Currently, Auburn has the number 2 leading rusher in the SEC, the number 2 leading WR in the SEC and the number 4 leading passer in the SEC

KLS is 135 yards from reaching 1,000 yards. McCloud and Faulk both have 7 sacks on the season and are leading the team.

Second to last in Time of Possession and dead last in redzone conversions. Dead last in FG kicking

We have the 31st ranked Offense nationally and the 24th ranked Defense.

This team should not be 5-6 right now. The amount of missed opportunities this year are mind blowing. And while Thorne gets most of the blame because he is the Qb, there is enough blame to go around at all positions and especially the coaching staff. This should have been an 8 or 9 win season.

it shocks me at how our kicking game completely fell off. Went from first to worst in one season. And that is with McGooooo being perfect at A-day.

I guess we should have known then. Anyone that balls out during A-day rarely succeeds during the season.

If we were going by just Qb rating, Payton is 3rd in the SEC. Now just imagine all the drop passes were catches and Percy knew how to block

Dude would have put up insane numbers this year for a mid Qb. Freeze's offense is potent

Now tell us how you really feel:

I passed on this game. May pass on next weeks too if Freeze sticks with Thorne. Tired of watching Auburn lose in Jordan Hare ...

Thorne's RPO decisions are pure shite ...

quote:

thrown behind him again. Thorne is so fricking bad ...

quote:

Thorne sucks...

All of this was in a game Thorne threw 5 TD passes. You're still a fraud.

This. The stats show that poor red zone play, and turnovers early in the season killed us. We moved the ball great between the 20’s and could not finish drives. How many games did we outgain opponents and lose? Also, penalties, sacks, and garbage time yards skewed some of the stats, as well as some general bad luck.

This team really should be a 7 win possibly 8 win team if not for completely improbable losses against Oklahoma and Mizzou. But we also lost games to teams we clearly out talent which concerns me. Still at the end of the day, if we go all in and can find a Cam Ward type QB in the off-season my expectations would be playoff next year with our schedule.

Turnover Margin

Fum. Gain - Int. Gain - Total Gain - Fum. Lost - Int. Lost

Way behind everyone in most every metric. And it's not even close.

Might want to think again buddy. If you are going to tell us you will miss Auburn games if Thorne doesn't get benched then dont smooth over his performances later. Why not just be real, ya fricking fake

When Freeze had that series of abomination where he tried to run one last play then rushed Towns out there to try and beat the clock and he shanked it and then the rekick and shanked it......he broke that poor boy, just broke him.

Just another in a long line of shatty coaching calls by Freeze.

Im a Freeze fan, but his coaching has been abysmal both in preparation, gameplanning, and in game decisions. What makes it glaringly apparent is the difference in the offense and defense, he leaves the defense to Durkin and look at the results.

The last couple of games he has been prepared and let them play instead of hissy fits on the sidelines with his QB and you see the difference.

I disagree. What you watched this year was a team made up mostly of TFR-TSO's and xfers who had never played with each other before this year. We had THREE true upperclassmen who had been here 3-4 years. No one else in the starting 2-deep had been here more than 2 years, more than half only one. At times we had 7 TFR on the field on D.

We had inexplicable TO's (see Alston's goal line fumble for one), a star kicker who battled a life-threatening illness and has for now come up short, critical defensive miscues and collapses (I can think of at least two game-winning drives that were extended due to senseless D penalties on 3rd down, the kind you get from young players playing wild) and we nearly lost ATM to a defensive collapse.

This team grew up this year. The infusion of talent coming in, plus some key xfers, should put us in a really good place next year. We lose I think 18 to eligibility, unless Pavia wins his lawsuit , which is a lot but still a lot less than OM's 28 out of the two-deep.

Figure we get 3-5 RSFR stepping up to some of those 18 slots, and we don't need a large xfer class. We might have more than that ready to play on the OL, but only the coaches know at this point. If we hold it together recruiting, we will be rolling for the future.

Here’s a stat for you. Maybe the most important stat. Hope Hugh is listening.

When Jarquez Hunter has over 100 yards rushing this season, Auburn is
4-0.

Get that muthafuc*** the ball!

WDE!

The problem this season was Thorne screwed up at just the right moments to make it a 5-7 season.

With decent QB play AU is 8-4
