You are really wondering why we are betting favorites over 5-6 Auburn at home?

Auburn just had a big game win on Saturday and they are playing their best football of the season. Thorne is playing with confidence. Do you truly believe that we can win a potential shootout with Milroe ? I don’t.

We were 14 point favorites against Oklahoma. We saw how that turned out.

Thorne turns the ball over a lot and that's the one thing our defense is good at.

Because Auburn really isn’t that good. We should win by at least 10.

Auburn has a really good running game. OU just ran the ball down our throats. What gives you confidence that our defense will all of a sudden turn into a top level unit stopping the run?

A few things to consider when referring to the Oklahoma game:

1. It was away, we have sucked away minus LSU game

2. When the offense is constantly giving the other team short fields and pick 6, the momentum of the game shrinks. The odds to win etc. The defense was deflated also consider they gave up 10 points.

3. Thorne is an absolute turnover machine

It is my hope that Bama beats those MFers 99-0 and goes for two on the last TD.

That is all I have to say about that.

Because the betting lines are set by people who are totally impartial, not rabid Alabama fans on a message board coming off a loss where we were total arse and who are convinced the program is about to implode.

Chillax, we are going to beat those people from Lee County.

I wish that I shared that sentiment. But after what happened on Saturday I’m sure that Hunter and Alston are salivating at the thought of going against our defense. Maybe we’ll actually show up this time.

There are around 50th in rush offense. Hunter is a damn good RB though, so to your point, he could very well do some damage against us. If I'm Freeze, I'm giving us a very heavy dose of him.

You remember Jackie Robinson standing at second base and making sure that Bobby Thomson touched home plate after hitting the home run to beat the Dodgers in the playoff for the 1951 NL pennant? That's me when it comes to this game.

Thorne has also shown that he can be effective scrambling. Anyone who thinks that this game is going to be a blowout is delusional.

He was against us last year for sure.

I do not think that this will be a blowout. I'd love to be wrong.
