Riddick better have a hell of an Iron Bowl

That motivation they get lasts maybe a play. What is more important is we are confident enough in Tuscaloosa. I'll allow it.

I mean I usually don’t like it.

But we also have a confidence issue that we’re trying to turnaround. Sometimes you need a cocky guy in everyone else’s ear saying we’re doing this.

As for me personally, I’ll continue my tradition of having zero confidence in Auburn until the game is over. We went up 21-0 on A&M and everyone was laughing at me because I’m saying “well this loss is going to be painful”

The confidence I’m fine with. Throwing unnecessary shade at a single player who is clearly a very good player is just dumb. Could have gotten the same message across and spoken more generally.

I think him and Williams are pretty good friends so probably some of that on it as well, but still, unnecessary.

It's one of those things where players talk and if they talk they have to back it up or they look worse. Like the State guy talking shite to Seth Williams. This guy is a TF so we can easily shrug it off if we lose to young and dumb.
