I mentioned in another thread that I am high on this guy’s prospects for the future at QB, but that it seems like every time I mention his name on this forum it gets downvoted.
What are the general feelings about him? Is there a downside or skeletons in his closet that I’m not aware of to where people don’t care for him?

He's 3rd string. He might start at Bama, but I seriously doubt it's next year.

We never get the backup QB minutes with the 1st unit. It's always the 2nd bunch and the QB is running for his life.
Coach Bryant was sending in the backup QB in the 2nd Qtr not matter they score. Had to get the backup ready due to the QB's running the ball so often in the wishbone.

No, I think he has a shot in 2026. It's not like any of us have really seen the backups get to run the offense. So, who knows, really?
