This why you have to give Texas credit, no matter how lucky they got with their conference slate

It’s also why those complaining about their schedule have a legitimate gripe: they only played 3 conference games in away foreign environments, of which only 2 could have been hostile: Arky and A&M. War Memorial was taken out of it by an inexcusable noon kickoff and Arky’s 2 turnovers.

So Texas basically plays one legit game of the kind that took down UGA twice, Bama, Ole Miss twice, LSU, Tennessee, and A&M.

Either team can win this game. My gut says Ewers is either injured or rattled and gets benched for Manning. Hope not but that’s my gut feel; Ewers just hasn’t been the same since injury earlier this year.

I think our defense keeps things close and it ends up going down to the wire, decided by a field goal or other final play.
