He’s been hammered by the fanbase all season, me included, most of it deserved, but he found a way tonight to get it done, by hook or crook, and he led his team to a meaningful conference win. War Damn Payton

When he is ahead of schedule he is great. Once the team flounders he is not. He is average. The late runs were him pouring himself out for the fans. Appreciate that.
