I’m sneakily suspicious that it’s MonteG or Ninjadawgz given the autistic-like obsession with UGA basketball but I haven’t seen any waifus yet so I’m not certain.

Scott Howard fricking sucks. Sounds like he was calling a pee wee football game. No juice.

Especially the last UT offensive play where we force the fumble on 4th down. It was like he had no idea that it didn’t matter whether it was a fumble or sack or incompletion. It was game over and he’s saying “Ohhh uhhhh” like he’s unsure. He’s just underwhelming.

Our fans are like Goldilocks on Scott Howard. He either screams too much or he's calling a pee wee game with no juice.
I know it's not common for people like us to listen to other team's announcers on radio, but I've been in the position of having to do it in various scenarios, and I can tell you that Scott Howard is excellent when compared to the field of hometeam announcers.

Exactly. He screams when it is unnecessary and sounds like a choir boy when a situation should cause excitement. I demand a "just right" announcer.
4th down and the defense makes a play to seal the game and he is bumbling trying to to figure out if it was an incomplete pass or fumble.
His Ringo pick 6 call was awful. Same for the midnight miracle missed kick. fricking Ben Ingram the pxp guy for the braves had a better call.
Dude sucks. Jeff Dantzler was robbed of that job back in the day. Time to make it right and put Scott out to pasture.
Listen to Dantzler call a baseball game or women's basketball. He sounds better in general but he nails the exciting calls too.

I think he was better in his early years but he is just fine and Zeier is great. I listen to them whenever I watch them on TV and the uga focused insight is great. It beats the hell out of listening to any TV guys.

I used to do this until this year when all the games are on ABC. The delay doesn't work. The radio broadcast used to be behind the TV broadcast so I could pause the TV for 10 seconds or so, and it would be synced up. But now the TV is behind ten seconds and I don't know how to pause radio to let the TV catch up.
