Nice suggestion. I don’t think we will have time this go round. Might be a good future trip.

How's Starkville treating your crew?

We had a great day. Light crowd because their team is pretty bad.
But that enabled us to land a tailgating spot as close to the stadium as possible. Threw our tent on a spot at 7 AM and went back at 10:30.
Live music. Lots of Mizzou fans wandering through and chatting.
Stayed at a great Air BNB about 2 miles from the stadium.
Stopped on the way down at the Blue Canoe in Tupelo - highly recommend. Finished the night after the game at Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern. Bad drinks, cool vibe, lots of nice people and live blues while watching football.
Recommend a Starkville trip. Tickets were cheap. Tailgating was easy and really nice. Bars and restaurants are about a mile walk from the stadium. Cool vibe.

Glad it was a good trip. I have work aquaintances that are State Alums and work down the road in Columbus. The Golden Triangle is an interesting area.

I'll have to remember this place. When we go to family reunions in SE MO we stop in Tupelo for the night so this may be our go to spot.

Glad you had a good time.
