Their athletes are slow compared to more elite SEC rosters. All I can remember when they played UGA was how they got manhandled at the line of scrimmage

Texas is average? Maybe debatable.

Texas is slow? You're a dumbass.

Texas is a overrated team who dodged a real SEC schedule

Should've played an SMU schedule.

Not our fault on schedule but interesting coming from a fan of an ACC school.
Teams can get blasted by a good opponent and recover and improve.
Slow? (hasn't watched any games)

We have one of the fastest teams in CFB. We lost to Georgia because our QB was in his head and our O line couldn't stop the Dawg front seven.

Miami, meanwhile, was exposed as predicted. Your team has been a running joke for months and now we are getting the punchline.

Carry on.

I'd add that the worst Texas is is "good". However, that seems to be the case with the whole of College Football this year. There are probably 7 "good" SEC teams but not one of them seems to be great. Average is a reach talking about Texas.

The first four words of your post take any hope of legitimacy away. Texas the past few years have as much speed as anybody.

We’d welcome the chance to play Miami.
A loss to GT and fortunate comebacks against a mediocre schedule is fooling nobody.

In case you haven’t figured it out there really isn’t a super elite team this year - there are several of them that could win the title - and Texas is on that list.

It's 9 am. Time to put on some 2 Live Crew and post about Texas because my team got beat by Georgia Tech.

You lost to Georgia because even with our QB throwing you 3 freebies, you couldn't man up and answer the bell when it counted.

The same as UGA against Ole Miss.

I don’t know about that. Our defense was placed in bad field position all night by turnovers and a terrible backup punter. They answered the bell and gave us a chance. Quinn and the Offensive Line didn’t show up. Mostly Quinn though, our offensive line didn’t grade out so bad vs Georgia. Georgia is a bad matchup for us but I think a rematch would be much more entertaining than the first go around.

You are 100% correct. It doesn't make us a bad or average team. I'd argue that Georgia with 2 losses is a very good team and could win the whole damn thing.
As I've said in other threads, teams often take an arse beating only to recover and improve.

Texas did get an easy arse schedule this year. No doubt about that. But they're far from an average team.

We lots bc Ewers was limited with an oblique injury and Kirby schemed us really well with that in mind. He had yall ready to tee off on us and make Ewers beat yall through the air and it was super effective.

I’m not confident it wouldn’t happen again against another good defense. I think Ewers has improved and healed but not fully. We would be a different team with Arch but that’s not the way Sark wants to manage the situation. I don’t think we are a championship team with Ewers but I do think we have a championship defense.

I would love to see this average TX team play this juggernaut Miami team.
