That’s it. That’s the tweet.
I’ve been waiting on this dude for two years, and we were right. What an absolute dog. We have an alpha at PG, we riding.

Glad Aiden Hollowpants hit the road. Wouldn’t want him cutting into Pettiford’s minutes

Holloway had a hell of a game early last year against Baylor.

He saw Tahaad coming and knew his time was short

He never once resembled an alpha like Tahaad just did

Very different players, imo. Tahaad not only scored he created. Aden needed others to create for him. Aden may be a better pure shooter but he’s also a head case lol. When the moment was too big he took his ball and went home.
Tahaad just comes off as far more complete. Look back at his movement and distribution. He made the offense run.

Pettiford is a very capable defender too. He’s got quick hands and anticipates things nicely.

He’s not, though

He is though. I prefer Tahaad in every other aspect but Aden Holloway is an elite shooter if he has space. His struggles are in creating that space and defending.

Aden is a tremendous shooter when he’s on. It’s why he was a 5*. For whatever reason it didn’t translate at Auburn even as Bruce fed him a steady stream of opportunities. He just couldn’t hold up his end of the bargain.
Sooner or later I think he’s going to rediscover his stroke.

Dude missed a ton of wide open 3s though...

There’s a lot of great QBs when the pocket is clean
Every receiver is great when they’re not draped
Holloway being great at shooting with space is meaningless at our level of basketball. Just my opinion
I wish him the best, he just didn’t work for what we’re doing

Not only is Pettiford a much better defender, but the main difference is being able to create his own shot. Aden started out great but faded as the season wore on. Let’s see if TP can be consistent

And he couldn’t even buy a layup he was so in his own head.

I don’t think we have to worry about his confidence like we did Aden.

Agreed. I wish him nothing but misery and failure especially while he’s on the roster in Mordor.
