"Georgia just doesn't strike fear in teams."

Onward to bye week, deer camp, then the Cocktail Party.

A few years ago, when over half of Georgia's starters were sitting out for the draft, they beat Georgia. It was obvious to even a casual football fan that Georgia didn't care about that game.
Then utrans fans puffed their chests out and said "utrans is back".

utrans is all about the "narrative" and doesn't really care if they suck.
They just like saying stupid shite all the time.

I stand by it.

Nobody is scared of Georgia. At least nobody that I talk to.

I think in a rematch we can win.

Let me edit and clarify:

There is respect for Georgia. Probably more respect today that there was a week ago from today.

But Georgia just doesn't strike fear into the hearts of anyone. They aren't the cold-blooded killers of those Saban/Bama teams that were loaded to the gills.

Sorry if that (still) offends UGA nation.

Let's be honest. They sure struck a little fear in Ewers.

Only if you switch players first.

I respect Georgia. We probably have to go through Georgia again to reach any of our goals.

I think Quinn is capable. Time will tell. Both QBs probably play much better in a rematch.

Ewers will be running for his life again. Texas is soft on the los...unless they fix it which they may be able too, they are fricked In a rematch

I had that same perspective until i rewatched. The line was pretty solid, even against some of those exotic blitzes. It got even better after Sark benched DJ Campbell.

I always wondered what it was like to be an Alabama fan after the 2008 blackout/funeral game.

Now I know.

Some of those tackles lost serious $$ Saturday against Georgia's NFL caliber ends. If they want to earn some of that back, they better be looking for a rematch and play with more fire.

At the college level, if two teams are good enough to force a rematch, the team that lost the first game wins the rematch quite a bit. This will be much more common going forward, but let's analyze examples from the past.

2021 - Georgia & Alabama - split
2018 - Texas & Oklahoma - split
2017 - Auburn & Georgia - split
2011 - Alabama & LSU - split
2010 - Auburn & SC - Auburn won both
2005 - TX & Colorado - Texas won both
2001 - TX & Colorado - split
1996 - Florida & Florida St. - split

Feel free to add any that I have missed.

Kelvin Banks played fine. Cam was getting worked by the speed rush, but Quinn did him no favors either.

This is where I’m at.

I respect Georgia and I truly hope and pray we are good enough to see them again this season because I think Texas wants a do-over. Lessons learned and takeaways and I trust Sark to have them ready next time, irrespective of the starting QB.

Lots of respect; zero fear.

Needed to show a little more physicality, especially in the hands.

Yep, bend & get off was his problem in the first half.
