Wow
He was already diagnosed with an ankle sprain and would have not been able to play the following week. Brady wanted to come back to win this game and it didn't matter about next week since it would be the same result. Being able to play enough to get the much needed win over Auburn was more important than anything else. Cook probably wouldn't play the following week no matter what. There is a reason why Cook went to the hospital to make sure the ankle wasn't broken.
