I was just thinking this.

now that the adrenaline is gone and the soreness kicks in.. this could backfire.

I don't know about backfire. What needed to happen to win against Auburn, happened. If Cook can't go vs. Bama, the trade-of was worth it IMO. He'll go however. Not sure how mobile he will be, but he'll go..

I mean backfire as in the injury ends up costing him(us) the next few games.

Now noticing there's a bye week coming up, that's good.

Yeah, the bye will be very appreciated by this team after the Bama game.

We don't know about backfire because they haven't disclosed the injury. If it's a bone bruise, it hurts but structure is fine, a simple shot suffices. He had a MRI, so there must not be structural damage. A sprain maybe, anti inflammation therapy handles that. Any word on the injury?

Well shite, he will be feeling that when he's collecting social security. Those damn things last a long time.

His mobility is a huge part of his game. When his legs are dynamic, they rarely lose. I just hope it doesn't further erode his velocity and placement.

Both he and the team need to play with the same intensity and urgency for an entire game like they did when he came back in.
