Starting from the top. This product is disgusting to watch.

I mean it’s easy to see why. A dropped pass. A missed FG. A blown coverage.

It all adds up.

we have grown numb to losing. You can feel the lack of intensity on the fanbase and on campus gamedays. The buzz is gone.

We need to start winning and soon or a whole generation isn't going to know what it's like.

If I hear the “lack of talent” excuse one more time, I’m going to have a conniption. We are not nearly as far behind on talent as Hugh says. The problem is culture - no energy, no motivation, and finding different ways to lose games. Hugh should look in the mirror, but he never has in his whole life. It’s always someone else’s fault. He’s a con artist, a narcissist, and a loser.

Their players make the plays and ours don’t. Is what it is.

If we let Hugh go it’ll more than likely be worse. We have to give him a fair shake. Right now letting him go would not be a fair shake.

Guess they just have better culture? Better coaches? Better desire to win?

At least Freeze beat Saban and Bama those two times nearly a decade ago and he can recruit players.

Start winning? Who could we possibly beat. The answer is nobody.

As much as that will hurt, I agree. One more year, then we say, he had a chance.

My fear is we will slightly improve to maybe 6-6 next year and folks will keep making excuses then we take a dive in year four and then it’s at least another couple years after that before a new coach can get it on track, and that’s if they make a good hire. That would be about 2028-2029.

So many wasted years.

You don't fire the President, the athletic Director and the Head Coach without there being a known culture issue. Then follow that with a issue involving Cadillac ......

On top of all the above .....we fired the offensive and defensive coordinators. I bet they don't get fired in the offseason .....
.
Next year will be the third year after the cleansing ...

Huge will not be on the :"Hot Seat" Trustees are not ready for that.

This recruiting class should start things off.

Fail next year ,,,,,,,Huge might be ready for Div 2 again ........

The players know hoe to win ......In High School .....Not ready at this level yet.

Mizzou has had a better culture for a couple years now. Auburn is right there with them talent wise except QB spot. Again, that is on Hugh. He saw the train wreck we are seeing all offseason and thought “yeah let’s roll with this” and has the gall to get upset at his performance.

He makes questionable decisions. I don’t think firing him is the answer at all bc that’s only going to make matters worse but damn. He crumbles in the second half with his play calling.

I’m in classes with several football players and they are just waiting until this season is over so they can move on. There’s no heart in any of them and there just here for the money. Freeze sticking with Thorne was the worst mistake of his career and why the hell he didn’t go after Vanderbilt’s QB after he beat Auburn in their own stadium is just beyond me.

This is a bigger disaster than any can imagine and he’s lost this team and recruiting momentum for this year. I really believe they will have to fire him at the end of the season. Transfers are coming from what I’ve seen and many that he recruited want ever set foot on campus after this debacle of a season.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think Auburn would be the worst school in the entire conference. But here we are!

I agree with this sentiment. Expecting to lose is a negative feedback loop.
The last 4 years have taken a toll. I am not doomer, but there has not been 1 single memorable AU football moment at home. Several almost magical moments turned into more misery (see 2 Iron Bowls, etc..). I have children in school, and it's been the worst 4-5 year run I can remember. I feel terrible for them to have had the this misfortune (thank you basketball I guess). Even bad AU runs in the past have produced the unexpected home upset win or other fun stadium memory. This is just flat out depressing. I could not believe how empty the stadium was early 4th qtr of the Ark game in a game that was not out of reach on the scoreboard. But everyone knew it was over.

Missouri gave us a free TD today. We only got 2 and they gift wrapped us one of them

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.

I stand by earlier statements, Harsin would not be 2-5 with this team.
