Possible(maybe not likely) set of 10-2 records. If this were to happen WTF happens next for atlanta and CFP?

Bama: 10-2 L Vandy/TN

OM: 10-2 L UK/LSU

UGA: 10-2 L OM/Bama

TX: 10-2 L UGA/TXAM

TXAM: 10-2 L ND/LSU

Again, not likely but plausible.....thoughts?

Just looking at the last 3 years and no power conference team with 2 loses or less was left out of the top 12. What is going to suck is if 2 teams each with 2 losses play in the SEC title game because the loser might get left out.

Then again maybe not if it is a close game.

You think we could lose to MSU but not Texas or LSU?

You're giving aggy too much credit. Admittedly, they are looking legit this year. But, history suggests they shoot themselves in the foot.

I think State will upset someone this season, if history is an indicator, AM is a possibility.

If we lose to State, we are not finishing 10-2 (7-1).

It's more likely we lose to SCar.

History counts for shite this season. Ask Vandy.

In this scenario, there is no loser of the LSU-Bama game.

In that case i'd lean bama and LSU would be out of convo.

In this iteration, we would be going to Atlanta...against who I'm not sure.

I'm not even sure that would make top 5 weirdest outcomes this season.

It's already been a crazy year.

In this example..

A&M goes to Atlanta with only 1 Conference Loss

As to who they play..

Texas or Georgia would be my best guess based on quality of losses, but I think it would probably come down to some math calculation that I have no interest in exploring right now.

As for the CFP.. it would obviously depend on the other conferences and what the other teams look like, but my guess is..

3 of the 5 make it.. The Champ + 2 more..

But if you are looking for even more chaos, why not add these 3 teams?

MIZ (AL, A&M)
LSU (USC, AL)
TN (ARK, GA)

The SEC CG would be LSU vs A&M in this scenario.

I do beleive 8 teams can end up at 10-2 in this crazy scenario.

A&M would go to Atlanta in that case due to only one conference loss. Not sure about the others though
