These* mfs are so deprived of big games that they just make up reasons to play in the Benz

Broke asses breaking up tradition to get 10 million.

Take some of that endowment and use it in athletics instead of researching mahjong strategies.

Nice. Another year added to them not beating us in their home stadium.

The rivalry has gotten so sad that I had to click on post to find out what "COFH" stands for.

I just hope this is not a permanent thing , As season ticket holders we already have a neutral site game.

Nope back in Athens in 2026. This is apparently part of the contract Tech signed to move 1 game a year for 5 years to MBS I guess they upped the pay out for 2025 to get the UGA game.

This was not initiated by GT. Most of us don’t want it.

Someone threw $10 million to both teams.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. It absolutely postively won't "feel" like COFH without tailgating in the varsity parking lot. And as shitty as their stadium is, I do enjoy the skyline view from the upper deck they stick us in.

On the flip side, concessions will be MUCH easier to navigate than the absolutely futility at BDS, we won't have to worry about freezing cold weather like usual, and we'll get a shitton more dawgs in the venue than we would at BDS. Also jsut for me personally it'll be easier/quicker to get to instead of having to take the train to 5 points then have to transfer north.

So I guess ultimately I'll end up not hating it overall, but it still feels weird.

I was talking with a family member who actually goes to multiple tech games a year. Her expectation is to still tailgate on campus and then Uber to the game

My tailgate group is already planning our assault on the Home Depot lot. We’ll be there this weekend for a test run.

Crazy that yall are giving away home field advantage. Place is going to be red as it comes. Wonder if the upper deck will be blocked off like it usually is for tech games or if they’ll open it up for the Georgia fans.

Lots of us don’t like it. But we are realists. Not only is $10M a lot for us, we will be able to start our huge stadium upgrade a month earlier.

We have committed a half billion dollars for facilities upgrades, including a shite ton of money for BDS.

Still somewhat tentative, but doesn’t look too bad.

If it's tentative, I don't want to read about it. You made it sound like it was a done deal. I have no time to read about things of a tentative nature.
