One of the most glaring differences between the B12 and the SEC so far…

…in my perspective is actually the “bottom” teams.
In the B12 the bottom feeders where only ever that…perpetual road kill.
In the SEC, you have to be VERY cautious of the “bottom” teams because they’ll whoop some A$$ if you sleep on them.
Love the competition.

You mean like Kansas?
Mainly speaking of the B12 when they still had division. Entire north division was just trash.

I don’t think that’s accurate in the post realignment Big12. Baylor was one of the best athletic programs in the country the last decade. TCU produced more NFL talent in the last decade than any other Texas program, they also played for a national title. Iowa State has been very competitive and has challenged for Big12 titles every other year. Iowa State also revolutionized college football defense with the three high safety concepts that NFL coaches have visited Ames to study. Kansas State has always been a solid program who can beat anyone. Oklahoma State still has a bunch of DFW/OK talent and a great Head Coach. Tech can put up points on anybody, they won’t stop you either. Although if you don’t come to play, you can find yourself in hole in Lubbock. Kansas was building something, but schools ravaged that program in the transfer portal. Kansas should have enough money to keep their guys.

That's what I've always said and I think the SEC bottom is even down a little this year, because Auburn and MSU are both having really bad seasons. That's why it's funny when other conferences say that the SEC is just top heavy.
