Full 16 minute press conference.

According to some people here, I'm the guy who gets to ask the first question.

For those who aren’t going to watch Kirby’s PC what did he say about shoving MSU’s QB?

Those people will just have to wait for social media to tell them what to think.

Kind of shitty of him to steal that excuse instead of letting one of his players use it when they run somebody over speeding.

He publically apologized and called Miss State to apologize and said he was so wound up he didn't realize he pushed him until he saw the video.

Good enough incident over

My problem with Smart & the MSU qb wasn’t with Kirby. It was the fact the refs saw it and did nothing about it.

We all watch players get ejected & suspended every week for split second, on the field actions that have always been part of the game. But running down the sidelines and 2 arm shoving a kid doesn’t even warrant a flag on the bench? BS

Agreed. I never thought Smart meant anything towards the qb.

But players don’t mean to grab facemasks, or interfere with receivers. Doesn’t excuse them from getting penalized

100%. The ref clearly thinks about it on video before deciding to let it go

When I watcted it again its clear he was laser focused on running up to yell at the ref and probably thought it was one of his guys.

Yep. I never thought Kirby intended to take a shot at the qb. And I would have zero problem if we didn’t see so much other ticky tack crap called on players

I don't see a problem with it anymore, shite happens. If Van Buren is satisfied, that's enough.

I have and I’m glad you brought that up because after y’all said that in the In the press conference, I went back and watched it. Didn’t even realize that I had run into him. I reached out to Lebby that night and talked to him. He said the kid was great. Yesterday, I talked to Mike [Van Buren Jr.] and told him I had no intentions or ill will towards him at all. If you ever been on the sideline in a game, it’s pandemonium. It’s really pandemonium when you’re trying to change personnel, and you only got three to four seconds to do it. We were bad off in a bad personnel grouping against empty that we actually had messed up the week before. I was trying to get to Schumann to get that changed, but I reached out to the kid. He was great. He’s a really good player. He’s going to be a good player in this league, and he played better as the game went on against us.

If you watch the video, the answers are clear. He was running quickly to yell at another coach to switch out the personnel because they were in a bad matchup, and when on defense you have to sub quickly because the offense doesn't have to stop for your subs. Mike Van Buren just happened to be in Kirby's bee line to the other defensive coach further down the sideline.

That night, Kirby talked to coach Lebby, and he got permission to talk to Van Buren. And he did that too. All is good.

The real takeaway for me is that I didn't know Kirby and Sark were that close, they actually go on trips together every year and are buddies. That is something I did not know.

He blamed it on PTSD he developed after Ed Orgeron out scored him 73-26 in two games

Shitty coach to put hands on any player and he should have gotten a penalty

The pussy brigade here will still be little bitches about it, and they all probably vote Democrat.

"targeting" and "launching" are bullshite that allows refs to change outcomes of big games. It's corrupt, and intended to be corrupt.

We need to bring back "spearing" as a call, and leave it at that.

"Helmet to Helmet" happens every play of every game from NFL to peewee
