It's likely that a quality 2-loss SEC team will be left out of the playoff

This is a joke when mediocre teams like Boise State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Miami, Clemson and Penn State appear to have a strong shot to get a playoff spot
These teams would be middle of the pack in the SEC
On a neutral field, I'd take the SEC's 8th best team to beat any of the teams listed above
There's no way those teams could play an SEC schedule and not have at least 2-3 conference losses

Are you lobbying for your Whorns because you see 2 losses incoming on your schedule? I actually see 3

They’re not bad team, but give me a break. Iowa freakin State?

Boise State will just end up as the G5’s guaranteed spot.
Rest of those teams still have a lot of opportunities to take losses on the schedule. Most SEC teams have only played 2 conference games too, so still a lot of time for SEC teams to beat up on each other. Wouldn’t expect more than 3 SEC teams with 2 or less losses by season’s end and all will make the playoff.
Even if the ACC and Big 12 each get a 2nd team in, that still leaves 7 spots for the Big 10 and SEC.

Welcome to life in the SEC buddy. Competition here compared to everywhere else is not even close. Just the way it goes.

Didn’t take long for you to see the reality of playing in the SEC.

Every game in the SEC is a playoff game, been that way for years.

I think the SEC will end up with 4-5 teams with 2 losses or less and all will make the playoff.
