Not to pile on the doom but an interesting thing I've noticed.

UGA game: 4th down, we get the stop, play is voided and re-ran because we called a timeout the moment the ball was hiked. If we don't call that TO there, we at least get one 4 down stop against UGA. That's a huge miss that gave them a chance to get back in it.

Vandy: get them off the field on 4th down, we send two #2s on the field for a penalty. Ball goes back to Vandy and they score. We probably win if this doesn't happen.

SC: They go for the onside kick, we recover, it gets called back because we went for a TO in the last moment, giving Beamer of all people time to work on the kick and another shot at it. They recover, we survive.

In each of the last three games there's been a little moment where the coaching staff fricks up and it has a huge impact on the game.

Team is still developing and so is the staff so it is what it is but I'm interested to see if this trend continues.

SC kicked off and we recovered and it was replayed because we called timeout? I only saw the one we botched. Yikes.

Two linebackers and a blocking TE/H-B up on the front line

There are no statistics or spreadsheets to back this up but…..

We are also just having some really, really shitty luck. Some of it is our own fault by not making a play. But we also have balls just bouncing right for our opponents. That tipped pass today was dangerously close to another interception. Or we got guys finally playing hard and rushing the QB and they wind up hitting him in the helmet (not hard but enough for a flag. Every member of the team and staff need to do some soul searching and hold themselves accountable for these mental errors.

Yeah it was nuts. Giving a guy whose literal family legacy is Special Teams plays a second chance could have been a dagger.

The scripted, performative celebrations after plays is a problem.

Lack of attention to details has been an issue with this staff. You can hear the frustration in the comments from former players on the broadcasts.
