Also providing Roydell williams with transportation to the Lee Brecheen Louisiana Football Mag awards. A NO-NO according to the NCAA.

He will reestablish Auburn's ties to the NCAA's infraction committee very soon!

he's a dirty son of a bitch, but so are the coaches he's going up against in that state. A necessary evil if you will

Tuberville's approach to recruiting was allegedly clean cut and he would never heavily recruit top players if he felt that Auburn didn't have a legitimate shot at them. Over the past couple of years, that philosophy failed. A change was needed, and Chizik's hand on approach and our new coaches approach to recruiting might just be welcome change.

I realize Chiz is great and intends to be a hands on coach in D, but I'm waiting for the big name in this area. So far, so good, though.

Bump for Ted Roof being hired. Good hire, IMO.

I wouldn't be happy with the Chizik hire as an Auburn fan however I think they've put some people under him that could really help him do well.

I think most Auburn fan's expectations of him are that he will run the program like a "CEO". He needs to completely stay out of the offense and let Malzahn and the other assistants do their jobs, but I do want to see him have a hand in our defense, seeing how he is a proven defensive coordinator.

I was a supporter of Coach Tuberville, wanted him to stay, and was not thrilled when Chizik was hired. However, I have been very impressed with Chizik's work so far and the staff hires have been great. Trooper Taylor is going to be a great asset on the field and in recruiting. The UT people thought he was the shiznit.

Yes, and al.com is reporting that John Thompson could possibly be coming to Auburn as well to coach the secondary.

We'll see. This should be the last year that Alabama smacks us in recruiting. I'm saying this because we have many proven recruiters on this staff, and good coaches that will get us back winning.

Even with my Auburn glasses off I can see that this staff is incredible

That's cool with me. I want the rivalry to be good again. I loved beating the crap out of you guys this season, but if it's like stomping baby chicks, it isn't as fun. I want Auburn and Alabama to both be undefeated when we hit the Iron Bowl... every year! Then may the best team win. WAY more fun that way.

BTW my Aubie friends wouldn't even watch the game with me this year. Sucked.

Agree 100%. My favorite game during the "streak" was the 2005 game, because both teams were good... and because Auburn blew Alabama out.

But still, it is way more fun when both teams are good. I would love to see the Iron Bowl decide the SEC West one year soon, because then it would just be insane.

You have a one game winning streak vs them and you're concerned the series is already getting out of hand.

Hehe... ok.. good point, but.. you have to admit. For a moment there it looked like Auburn was going to totally implode and be a doormat for years. When Chizik was hired we ('Bama fans) all looked at his record with Iowa State and cracked up.
