I've not seen them that focused and locked in since the ND national championship game. Those boys were serious

Someone needs to tell them games are 60 mins, then. Focused for 30, unaware for 30, will not work going forward.

I would say they unlocked in the 2nd half and they sorta did, but there were also problems with play calling.

Couple that with Georgia's obvious eliteness and their desperate conversion of one 4th down after another, like a frickin' boss, and what you have is a legit heavy weight bout, with shades of the 2019 LSU game.

Upon reflection. The answer is no, this is not a consistent team yet and that needs to change, but they're really close. The defense gets a second half pass. Georgia wasn't fricking and it showed. The offense though, well the coaching staff damn near gagged it away and they need to do some self evaluation in this.

Tell that to the offensive coordinator.

If the players weren't locked in they wouldn't have been able to turn it back on so quickly when he finally stopped being conservative (or running trick plays lol) for that Ryan Willams TD

Terrible take

Georgia’s success in the 2nd half was a product of game script and refs allowing a top 5 team more freedom moving around the field than we were.

I hope you don't really believe that. BAMA played most of the 2nd half trying not to lose rather than playing to win. #2's catch of the year is not what I want BAMA to rely on after blowing a 23 point lead.

Georgia was 5/5 o. 4th down. Credit to them, but they wouldn't have gone for many of these if it were a 1 score game. They would have punted. Thus, I personally don't think the final outcome, a 7 point margin, would have been different had we not broke out to a big lead.
Further, even if we could've kept them to 60%, 3 of 5, on 4th down, Bama wins the game by 15+.
