I think we upset somebody still and beat state and tech to go to some shitty bowl game while having a top 10 rush defense in the country and a top 10 draft pick on the d line. Is this enough to save his job?

Wouldn't be a surprise to me to see Hunter retain him after a 5 win season.
They'll sell it as progress.

The media has been saying all year he is safe with 5 wins.

He’ll survive until the money people decide otherwise and they commit the funds needed for a real NIL package for a real hire.

Until then, learn to enjoy what we have or don’t watch

What’s the plan? Even if just 5 wins if the defense is good you can sell year 2 of Petrino will see massive improvements offensively we keep a good defense, with a good recruiting class then Sam gets one more year and retires either way, if we do good pass the reigns to Twill while keeping Bobby as OC and if not he retires and we bring in a whole new staff?

He isn't safe going 5-7.

I think that even if we go on an absolute tear for the rest of the season and finish like 9-3 or even 10-2 its time for Pittman to step down at the end of the season.

Not because I hate Pittman or I think that "by golly, we can land that Head Coach from Northeast Tupelo State and win a national title in the first year with him!" No, I say that because he looks like his health is declining game to game at this point. Sam limps along the side line and looks tired all the time.

The guy is 62 but he looks 72. Walk away, enjoy that wonderful house on the lake, and be an ambassador for the football program in your golden years. If Sam really wants to keep his hand in the game, but at a much more manageable role make him the recruiting coordinator.

Why care about something that isn't going to change?

Arkansas is pretty close to letting go of the rope. Auburn is probably the only SEC win.

A three score loss on Saturday just might be the catalyst

If Arkansas doesn't turn the ball over.

Count on it if Tay Tay plays any significant snaps.

Well, maybe he won't. Maybe my stripper girlfriend won't suck another guy's cock again. Who's to say really, everything is all equal chance in this life.

He's back for a couple more years.

4-8 or 5-7 doesn't matter.
