Georgia’s comeback was largely manufactured by the refs and game script

The first half was a better representation of the two teams than the second half.
The refs understandably let Georgia get away with a liiittle bit extra here and there once the lead got wild.
They very irresponsibly, imo, allows that to continue for way too long and e eventually got drunk with excitement in the game.
You simply can’t give a team that good, against freshman all over the field, with 4 downs to do everything, an entire half with more freedom to tug and push a little.
On top of that, it seemed like Georgia got about 5 of 6 “bounces” to their way. There were also countless(legitimately) bang bang plays where Alabama was inches from game being INTs.
I know I sound like an idiot, but I can’t shake the idea that folks aren’t seeing the game with proper context.
Am I a goddamn psycho?

Nah, Georgia had a bad 1st half. I believe the 2nd half is the better representation of each team. Bama in trouble if they meet SEC championship or playoff.

I unfortunately agree. Not on the ref part, that's dumb, but I think Bama got complacent/conservative and lost the juice they had.
Even with that, if UGA doesn't go 5/5 on 4th downs it's a blow out. Converting those and the quick stops when Bamas offense was going through the motions lead to tired players for Bama and UGA Was able to capitalize on some big plays in the 4th.
Milroe is a freak and so is Williams. I would be worried about a rematch because I don't think we have an answer for either of those guys.
That said, our offense left a lot of plays on the field in first half that contributed to the snowball effect, but I still would say Bama is a 10 point favorite on a neutral field.

I firmly believe Alabama tapped into UGA’s helmet communications until they got up four scores and realized they had to scale it back because it had become too obvious. Everything thereafter was more representative of the two teams. It’s really the only logical explanation.

That’s my favorite thing about CFB. It’s SO media driven and storyline heavy that we all have wildly varying views of the same teams and same games even.
Folks being shocked at lines every week is fun(Auburn this weekend is a good example).
I think Georgia’s success in this game was largely manufactured.

Especially considering Alabama’s OL disaster in the game(left tackle out, right tackle out, god mode right guard moved to left tackle where he was arse, had to start to rookie right tackle who legitimately had the worst performance I’ve ever seen my a right tackle).
What did the USF game show you about Alabama?

Alabama was playing 1 high safety and nearly press man coverage across the board for entire drives late in the game(yes they did the opposite at times and kept things in front of them while allowing big intermediate catches).
Georgia dialed up the one big TD getting the safety to bite bc they knew he’d do it through film study. It was truly great preparation and execution and shows why Georgia is great.
I don’t think that 1 play is representative of future success. I imagine that safety just learned something he’ll never forget.
I don’t think Georgia “found” anything in that 2nd half. And I don’t think the 2nd half should make anyone think, “ohh, yeah the at game would be close every game if they played it 100 times.”
I think Georgia has SERIOUS issues that people won’t consider after seeing that 2nd half. And I think Alabama is only getting better from here.
And I know you don’t agree, but I really think the refs were the main culprit(not at all saying they were bias or TRYING to give Georgia a win).

Alabama’s lead was all about Beck giving it to them.
Beck had 3 picks, a fumble and took a safety.
