Cam Ward in post-game said "I'm the best player in the country, I'm humbly saying that".

Did he have a bad game? I saw him play last year, and he was an athletic arse QB, but that was against Colorado. Almost like a skinnier Anthony Richardson but with way more starts.

I’m going to watch the highlights. His stats read 340 in the air with 4 TDs and 2 picks, with 60 on the ground and a TD. Without watching, he sounded like he played like he always does. But we’ve had QB struggles at A&M, so those stats would make him above average at my school.

He also lost a fumble and threw a pick. Definitely not the best in the country.

He has Max Johnson type awareness from what it sounds like.

There are certainly 7 quarterbacks in the SEC alone I would choose over Ward that’s not even sucking off the conference like we normally do. It’s just a fact.

Cristobal really reminds me so much of Ed orgeron. He even carries himself like a complete oaf. If this Tech team can pull that off at Miami I’m not so sure they go undefeated despite the laughably bad schedule

What’s a “LANK moment” for all of us old codgers that have no idea what the hell you are saying?

Googled it for ya.

quote:

The phrase "LANK" is an acronym that stands for "Let All Naysayers Know". It was created by Jalen Milroe and Terrion Arnold as a motto for the University of Alabama football team for the 2023 season. The phrase was used to describe the team's mental approach and to address disrespect

Or maybe it’s something else.

I had no idea what it was either. I was expecting some urban dictionary meaning, not google AI saying it was an acronym invented by the tide.

I do t have a pager any longer, and had no desire to try to figure out what he was saying.

Him, Cam, and Sanders all practice together with some guru over the summer from what I heard. They are all considered probably 4th rounders or better this year.
