Does CKS/UGA try to get him back? We could use all the bodies we can get on the DL.

I'm not sure if you followed the story when he left, but if Georgia decides they need transfer DL for next season Bear Alexander will be on the list... of candidates they don't even consider.

Kid wasn't even producing. He's not going to be in very high demand.
My advice: go to a place with excellent coaching, work hard, and graduate. For him, the NFL is certainly not promised.

Classic example of entitlement. Overvalued his worth and doesn't want to put in the required work to develop himself. He will get just what he has earned.

He wouldn't have gotten on the field at Georgia as a freshman if he couldn't work. He's got to reset, though.
He's got to get away from center stage. His next stop should be NCC or FAMU - good, small programs away from the limelight and the big paydays. Just grind, learn, mature, and produce.

It's not exactly black and white here. I'll give the fact that he didn't have good influences.
However, he needs to be treated more like an adult and not like a pampered child. Kid could have used some of the kind of tough love, mentorship, and accountability that collegiate sports used to be perfect for.
NIL and the transfer rules didn't do him any favors.

sure he has a "handler" or guardian or whatever and doesn't have strong parental support (I'm guessing), which sucks. Obviously that would make life tough on any teenager. So yeah he's kind of behind the 8 ball there. But he's what, like 19 years old? He's not a toddler. Unless he's so dumb that he can't even feed or dress himself, he obviously understands that his "purpose" at this moment is to play football good, and if he does it well enough he gets to the NFL and makes millions for him and all his family and friends. All he has to do is not be lazy and put in the minimum amount of work needed to remain being good at football. Yet he hasn't or won't. That's a personal accountably problem, not anyone else's.

That's what I meant. At Georgia, he was surrounded by young people in a structure that promoted the habits that lead to success, and the results showed on the field.
At USC he wasn't on campus, he was teamed with a bunch of mercenaries, he was in a program that catered to stars, he was given a pocket full of money, and he lived in the middle of the fakest, most celebrity worshipping city in America.
Imagine Jalen Carter going to that environment as a 19 year old instead of staying in the UGA structure.
That's not to absolve. I came up rougher than 99% off Americans, so I tend not to feel sorry for anyone, and the world certainly doesn't care about the why men make shite life decision. It's just nsight.
