I'm officially claiming a 1968 national championship for the Arkansas Razorbacks right now

10-1 record for the Hogs
The supposed "legit" claims are from 8-1-2 (
) Georgia, who we beat in the Sugar Bowl 16-2, Texas, with a lesser record of 9-1-1, and Ohio State, another in a long line of "national championship" teams because of northern Yankee bias

Ohio St was the national champion in 1968.
This is even more frivolous than Arkansas's 1964 claim.

If it makes you feel better, I would recognize 1909 as a legit title if Arkansas claimed it.

If they're listed in the Official NCAA Records Book for football, the UA Athletic Dept. is free to claim them.
USC could claim about 7 more, but they don't....UGA could claim 3 more, but they don't -- but, they absolutely should claim 1946 (only unbeaten & untied team in the nation that season (11-0-0), yet ranked 2nd behind co-national champions Notre Dame (8-0-1) & Army (9-0-1), which tied in their game vs the other that year. Talk about regional bias in this one.

I've got two of these passed down from Mom
but you don't need a cast iron to do squares or pie shaped
