Bama loss not good for LSU

Enjoy the Bama loss now, but remember you always want your competition to win when they arn't playing you. This loss probably cost LSU in the rankings some points not only in this season's final rankings, but next preseason rankings as well.

Really, who cares about that? I think our future looks bright and that's what counts today.

are you discounting the ole miss win, our win, georgia's win, etc.?
if that is your theory then you need to include SEC bowl wins as well - any impact from that?
next year is a new year - SEC will still get props over all

I agree it shows we lost to a team we should have beaten because the Head Coach had the Wrong QB playing

Bama definitely let the conference down. Maybe UF can stem some of the damage.

wrong. the bama loss helps us with recruiting if anything.

Not flaming here but you guys did lose 5 games this year. Can't really blame it all on us for your ranking next year. Just saying.

Good answer. Personally I find it impossible to pull for a team and a coach attempting to steal recruits from the state of Louisiana and LSU. We're currently in a battle with Saban and Alabama for one of top recruits in the nation and LSU people feel compelled to root for Bama's success because of the SEC connection. Makes no sense to me.
