All the national media Dom and gloom over the KY game is beyond infuriating. We were KY's super bowl and just like they were over confident against SC, we were over confident against KY. That won't be the case next weekend. I don't even think this game will be particularly close. Kirby is gonna have UGA beyond ready and I think UGA wins by at least 10 or more. UGA is by far the best team Bama has faced, and we won't wear down like USF did.

Since 2019 Kirby is 20-0 when we have more than a week to prepare.
Also Georgia missed 17 tackles versus Kentucky, which is the most they have missed since 2017, per PFF.
We can win in Tuscaloosa but it will be tough. Possible Storm that day too.

On some of the player-led talk shows during the off-season, you could read between the lines and get some hints at how badly our players want to beat Bama this season and how much last season's loss stung. I don't know if Carson Beck comes back if we beat Bama last season.
It's going to be very personal for our players. And it also doesn't hurt that we have the better team and better players.

Not sure if you know thew history with Firewind.
For years he was a very Disney dawg. Then, when we were struggling and (I think) the year Mississippi State was ranked #1 for a short time, he announced that he had had enough and was a Mississippi State fan. He had some kind of tie to MState. It wasn't a matter of his saying he was also pulling for MState, but that he had had enough of Georgia and was now a full fledged MState fan going forward.
It (as you can imagine) rubbed a lot of us the wrong way.
Anyway, now that Georgia is competing for titles and MState has sunk to new lows he is back to being a Georgia fan. Surprise.

Yes, I am familiar with him although I know he doesn’t post much. But I know he’s a favorite of JD. One time JD said, “Firewind, Firewind, his name floats with the breeze”, or something to that effect. He’s called for the noose to be used more than once.

Yes Dallas I was thinking the same thing looking back at posts from that era and those we don’t hear from anymore. I guess some lose interest in posting and just sign off. And then there are those who were banned or passed away.

As far as what happened years ago, Richt shite the bed one too many times, and I had lost all my Disney Dawg feelings for him. Fwiw, I've been fully supportive of the Dawgs since Kirby got hired, not just since we started winning under him. Kirby has the vision and the resolve that Richt didn't. Every one of you knows that if Richt has been the coach last week, we would have lost that game. Love Richt as a person, but his time at UGA was beyond over.
As for Mississippi State, away my dad's favorite team as he was from Mississippi, and my first cousin played for Miss St. I don't know if they were ranked #1 at the time or not, but, the fact is I was done with Richt, and tired of being let down all the time. I e never abandoned UGA, and they will always be my #1 team. Miss St will always be my #2 team.
Tennessee will always and forever be my most hated team. I will pull for any team over Tennessee, always. Frick the Vols.
Oh, and I am NOT an alter, I'm 100% me and have never posted under another name or alter.
