Per 247

quote:

Georgia's starting offensive lineman suffered a sprained MCL and sprained ankle during the 13-12 win in Lexington, Dawgs247 confirmed. An MRI revealed the shorter-term setback than expected. DawgsHQ's Rusty Mansell first reported the update on Ratledge's health. The extent of the injury and length of time missed is still not clear, but typical timeframes for that injury would eye after the second bye week in October.

I was told ankle and knee, but I don't know which is worse or how bad it is," Kirby Smart said in the postgame press conference. "I don't know much about it."

We have a long tradition of aiming to get players back for the Florida game and using the bye week before the Florida game, so that would be my guess.

Morris is more than capable of dominating at the RG position. However, when a starter is injured for an extensive amount of time, depth becomes an issue.

I've heard from "insiders" that Morris is the 2nd strongest player on the team. The 1st strongest?...Fairchild.

According to Brooks Austin, the ONLY concern with Morris is he sometimes will take plays off. Aside from that, the coaches believe there’s basically no drop-off.

That sucks for us but more so for Tate to have this happen his senior year.

Daniel Calhoun is next up after Morris and he’s a freshman. They liked what he did in camp

He's done for the year - if he wanted, could he get a medical redshirt and come back?

He could, but he'd be a fool to come back.
